The “Jöerg” landsknecht is a two-tone, slit shirt created using traditional designs from the storied Lansquenet mercenaries. It is unknown how this style arose, but historians speculate that Lansquenets may have begun cutting their clothes because they were too tight for them to fight in. According to the well known mercenaries, this is how the trend started. The Landsknecht intricate cut and high quality canvas construction are both impressive. Fighting is extremely liberated thanks to it greatly liberates one through fighting. The sleeves’ lacing gives them the lansquenet style buffy appearance.
